This journal welcomes and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical original research papers, case studies, review papers, literature reviews, conceptual framework, analytical and simulation models, technical note from researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students from Pan India and the world. The aim of the journal is to provide platform for diversity of intellectual pursuit from all corners of the society for enrichment and enhancement of the group readers.

There are many benefits of publishing on this platform compared with other publishing venues, even when they provide a choice of open access options and rigorous and speedy peer review:

  • Rapid publication saves time and speeds up the sharing of new findings, and increases the time articles are available for citation
  • The ability to publish any type of findings authors wish to publish from standard research articles, to data sets, and null and negative results.
  • The inclusion of supporting data enables other researchers to reanalyse, replicate and reuse, all of which support the current drive towards making research more reproducible.
  • Authors, not editors, decide when and what they wish to publish.
  • Authors, rather than journal editors, choose the reviewers for their publications following basic criteria. This provides authors with the ability to suggest reviewers most appropriate to their subject, and whose comments they can subsequently cite to demonstrate the quality of their work.

Articles published on this platform will incur Article Processing Charges (APC) of between INR 500 and INR 1500 (dependent on the article type). These costs will be refundable as well non-refundable depending upon situation.

Occasionally, we may recommend that an article is copyedited before our editors proceed further with the article by a professional copyediting search. Whilst IJOIRE does offer this level of language editing, we have compiled a list of copyediting services you may wish to consider.

Are all articles in IJOIRE ‘published’, even if they have not been peer reviewed?

Yes, all articles are published irrespective of the peer review status. “Peer review” and “publication” are two independent concepts. Most journals peer review and then publish; we publish and then peer review.

We publish standard research articles, methods, software tools, systematic reviews, as well as data notes, case reports and case series study protocols and research notes. For a detailed description of each article type, please see our article guidelines.

 

Articles will appear in Google Scholar. Once an article has passed peer review, i.e. it has received at least two ‘Approved’ statuses, or one ‘Approved’ and two ‘Approved with Reservations’ statuses from independent and invited peer reviewers, it will be indexed.

When everything is done, we will notify about the date of publication and a soft copy will be emailed as well! After this, we will provide you the certificate.
